My San Francisco career began on Alcatraz Island, where I worked as a cashier in the Cellhouse Gift Store. It was 2022, and I had just moved north from Los Angeles, having recently graduated from the University of Southern California, where I’d been an English major with a minor in Film. 

While working on Alcatraz, I fell in love with the Bay Area’s robust system of parks and trails. I felt called to use my background in media production and narrative writing to tell the stories of these special places. 

My interest in Bay Area parks and recreation grew steadily, and my career ambition eventually expanded beyond simple storytelling. In 2024, I began work with the Presidio Trust as an Administrative Assistant. At this role, I assist in the ongoing operations that power this national park, providing support to both Presidio staff and park visitors.

San Francisco is my second home, and I intend to continue developing my career in ways that will support its many beautiful public trails, parks, and open spaces.
